Ashdown in the Times

Lord Ashdown co-wrote a New York Times op-ed Wednesday with a former director of the World Bank’s Bosnia office. They decry the failure of aid donors to make good on their commitments, especially in meeting Afghanistan’s non-security needs. They also suggest a Bosnia-like arrangement for Afghanistan with a “high representative” capable of coordinating international efforts with the Afghan government. Read the whole thing here.
